We’ve implemented this new feature to help manage your Completed Articles and remove clutter. Read on to find out more…
Some of the feedback we’ve gotten lately – especially from customers that order in bulk – is that managing the articles in your account should be a lot easier. Basically, once an article get’s used, it just sits there cluttering up the Completed Articles folder. Also, when ordering spins, the list of articles that appear is unnecessarily long, as you might only be after spins for 1 or 2 articles, yet you need to browse through every Completed Article to find the ones you want spins for. These issues are now no longer a problem!
Now, it was always a plan to get these issues sorted eventually, and we were going to do something about it a bit further down the line, such as have articles ‘expire’ after 6 months.
Instead, thanks to some feedback from customers that want it more manageable right away, we’ve come up with (and had implemented for about 2 weeks now) the ‘Archive’ feature.
Archiving an article will send it to your ‘Archive’ – a place for articles that are no longer ‘fresh’ and deserving of a place in your Completed Articles section. Your Completed Articles section should now be about Articles that are hot off the press, that you are yet to publish. They are also the place to keep articles that you plan on ordering Spins for.
Articles that have been published, and you have no further need for at all including ordering spins, can be Archived. Archived articles are not deleted and can still be viewed and accessed – however, they are removed from your Completed Articles section, making it easier to differentiate between used articles and as-yet-unpublished newer articles. Also, Archived articles will no longer appear on your Articles List when ordering spins (so be careful not to Archive an article if you intend to order spins for it!).
Your Archived articles can be accessed through the link at the bottom-left corner of your Dashboard.
Hopefully, this feature will remove a LOT of clutter from used articles clogging up your Completed Articles section, and your Articles List when ordering spins. Thanks for your feedback and continued support – look out for a few new features coming soon, as well as ongoing promo offers!
